2022 General Conference News

This looks to be an historic conference and your prayerful attendance is much anticipated by those leading this Conference.

The 2022 General Conference will take place Monday – Friday April 18-22, 2022 at the Gathering Place Worship Center in Independence, Missouri (USA) and via our “Listen Live” link on the main menu. Our theme for this conference, “He Has Already Prepared the Way,” reflects our appreciation for our covenant with Jehovah, and calls attention to the things the Father has promised us, and the things we have promised Him.

Lehi’s son reminds us that our faith in the Father and our commitments to our covenants with Him, sets us apart from unbelievers and calls us to works of faith and follow-through: And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father, I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them ( 1 Nephi 1:65).

In the days ahead we must ask ourselves, what is undone, incomplete, in our response to the Father? What tasks remain before us as persons responding to admonitions to guard our covenants, and hold them close at heart?

Nephi, writing to our day, further reminds us we are not alone in these endeavors; that the Lord knoweth all things from the beginning; Wherefore, he prepareth a way to accomplish all his works among the children of men; for behold he hath all power unto the fulfilling of all his words (1 Nephi 2:100-101). And thus we see that the commandments of God must be fulfilled. And if it so be that the children of men keep the commandments of God, he doth nourish them, and strengthen them, and provide means whereby they can accomplish the thing which he has commanded them (1 Nephi 5:58-59).
