#4 The Persecution of Parvez: My Heart’s Desire!

I want to serve. Please send me some links to study Church materials. I understand the missionary work. One has to sacrifice his time and money and do the missionary work. My life revolves around God, my family and my job. God has helped me in every difficult time and I just want to serve Him. I have a strong belief in the Provider who promised to provide to His people and I believe in His promise. Now I know the Restored Gospel and scripture has to spread to every corner and it is the duty of His people to do the hard work and the labor because it is the will of God. I am ready to serve. I must have your prayerful support. Please send me more supporting material for the missionary work. Then we can settle some time to meet. Whenever you visit you can check on the situation here and see that we must work harder. Christian people here are so hard to teach. Harder even than the people of Moses. Please you are my Brother and you have a great calling and responsibility.

Today I learned from Restoration scripture about the duties of leaders of the Church and how important it is to help our needy brothers and sisters. I am glad I have translated it for my personal study. As you may know, the Restoration scriptures are not translated in our native language yet. From Restoration scriptures – “I tell you these things because of your prayers; wherefore, treasure up wisdom in your bosoms, lest the wickedness of men reveal these things unto you by their wickedness, in a manner which shall speak in your ears with a voice louder than that which shall shake the earth; but if ye are prepared ye shall not fear.” D & C Sec 38:6d

“And behold, thou wilt remember the poor, and consecrate of thy properties for their support that which thou hast to impart unto them, with a covenant and a deed which cannot be broken. And inasmuch as ye impart of your substance unto the poor, ye will do it unto me; and they shall be laid before the bishop of my church and his counselors, two of the elders, or high priests, such as he shall appoint or has appointed and set apart for that purpose.” D&C Sec 42:8 b, c

“Behold, I say unto you, that ye must visit the poor and the needy and administer to their relief, that they may be kept until all things may be done according to my law which ye have received. Amen.” D&C Sec 44:3

“And remember in all things the poor and the needy, the sick and the afflicted, for he that doeth not these things, the same is not my disciple.” D&C Sec 52:9c

“Woe unto you rich men, that will not give your substance to the poor, for your riches will canker your souls; and this shall be your lamentation in the day of visitation, and of judgment, and of indignation: The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and my soul is not saved!”  D&C Sec 56:5a

“See that ye love one another; cease to be covetous; learn to impart one to another as the gospel requires. Cease to be idle; cease to be unclean; cease to find fault one with another; cease to sleep longer than is needful; retire to thy bed early, that ye may not be weary; arise early, that your bodies and your minds may be invigorated. And above all things, clothe yourselves with the bond of charity, as with a mantle, which is the bond of perfectness and peace. Pray always, that ye may not faint, until I come. Behold, and lo, I will come quickly, and receive you unto myself. Amen.” D&C Sec 85:38a-c

“For it is expedient that I, the Lord, should make every man accountable, as a steward over earthly blessings, which I have made and prepared for my creatures. I, the Lord, stretched out the heavens, and built the earth, my very handiwork; and all things therein are mine. And it is my purpose to provide for my saints, for all things are mine. But it must needs be done in mine own way; and behold this is the way that I, the Lord, have decreed to provide for my saints, that the poor shall be exalted, in that the rich are made low. For the earth is full, and there is enough and to spare; yea, I prepared all things, and have given unto the children of men to be agents unto themselves. Therefore, if any man shall take of the abundance which I have made, and impart not his portion, according to the law of my gospel, unto the poor and the needy, he shall, with the wicked, lift up his eyes in hell, being in torment.”  D&C Sec 101:2 c-g

This was a wonderful lesson for my learning. I am trying to do my part and trying to help brothers and sisters little as I can do. The Heavenly Father knows my heart and He is watching my struggle. If this message is taught and understood by the whole world there will be no poor who will die with hunger. None who are in need. This message should spread across the world! I know the restored scriptures are true. I believe them with all my heart!

Every ear will listen and every tongue will testify that Christ is the Savior!
