A new musical, written by Doug Smith and Jim Negaard, will debut on Sunday afternoon, April 6th (exact time and Independence area location yet to be announced).
Directed by Lauren (Smith) Nixon, this musical will follow the reflections of Corianton (son of Alma) as he recalls his pride, rebellion, fall and redemption. Through recollections from his life, told just prior to his voyage to places unknown, this musical will reveal the heart of a man who has been freed from the confinement of sin, and found joy in service to God.
This fictional dramatization based on the account recorded in the Book of Mormon promises to be an enjoyable event involving many actors. We hope you will plan to attend, and will find this an inspiring lead-in to the 2025 General Conference!
