2026 General Conference
April 6 - 10, 2026
"Become a Child of My Grace"
Dear Saints,
Grace and peace to you in the name of Jesus Christ. With deep joy and heartfelt anticipation, we invite you to gather for the 2026 General Conference, to be held from April 6 through April 10. This year we come together under the theme “Become a Child of My Grace,” a call that invites us to rediscover the transforming power of God’s mercy and to renew our identity as people shaped, sustained, and sent by divine grace.
Our time together will begin with two days of Quorum sessions, during which we will thoughtfully review proposed legislation and attend to the regular business entrusted to our Quorums. These sessions are an essential expression of our shared stewardship—an opportunity to listen, discern, and act in unity as we seek the Spirit’s guidance for the life and mission of the church.
Each evening, Tuesday through Friday, we will gather for worship, lifting our hearts in praise and opening ourselves to God’s presence. Several ordinations will be celebrated during these services, marking sacred moments of calling, commitment, and blessing. We invite you to hold these ordinands in prayer as they step forward in faith to serve Christ and the church.
As the week unfolds, may we come with open hearts—ready to learn, ready to listen, ready to be changed. May we allow grace not only to touch us but to shape us anew, so that we may return to our branches strengthened, inspired, and more deeply rooted in the love of God.
We look forward to welcoming you, worshiping with you, and discerning together the path God sets before us. May this General Conference be a time of renewal, fellowship, and holy purpose for all who attend.
In Christ’s abiding grace,
David Whiting – Conference President
Ron Smith – Conference Vice President
Chris Taylor – Conference Secretary
James McKay – Conference Treasurer
Randy Vick – Conference Recorder

Parliamentary Procedures
To better understand the meeting environment and how parliamentary procedures are used to guide our discussion and decision-making process, we invite you to join us for a 21 minute video on our Parliamentary Procedures, hosted by Ron Smith. View or download the companion handout here.
Fred L. Young (1922-2004), secretary of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS) for many years, adapted Robert’s Rules of Order for use in RLDS conferences in his book “Parliamentary Procedure in the Church.” The JCRB later adopted these as our official parliamentary procedure as a way to make sure everyone is heard in a fair, free and equitable way.
