Will the Conference of Branches allow “faction” priesthood to participate?

With an historical precedent so easily documented on this issue (see the above answer), the proposed Rules of Representation clearly indicate that this Conference will recognize only those priesthood offices from Restoration Branches of elder, priest, teacher, and deacon.  Brethren presenting credentials for recognition of higher offices must have been ordained in the Reorganized church.  Organizations which currently practice the ordaining of individuals to higher offices (apostles, presidents, bishops, seventies, patriarchs, high priests) are considered to be engaged in divergent practices and are “factional.”  Ordinations outside of the Reorganized church to offices other than those listed will not be recognized.  In this context, “faction” priesthood will not be participating in the Conferences as such.
