According to Church law, branches can call conferences for the purpose of confering, fellowship, and worship. The branch is the primary organizational unit of the Church; thus, legislation that comes out of a conference is only binding if the branch decides to abide it. Branches have the choice whether to participate in a conference or not. The purpose of this site is to make information available about branch conferences that are organized by the JCRB or its affiliated branches.
