Eligibility and Participation Requirements

For Branches (Congregations)


To qualify as a participating "Branch", a congregation must have at least six members, one of which must be a priesthood member holding the office of Deacon, Teacher, Priest, Elder or High Priest. All members of the Branch must have authoritative baptisms, where priesthood authority can be traced to back to the origins of the Church.

To request your Branch be considered for membership in the Conference of Branches, complete the Branch Credentials Form (in Word or PDF) and send it to Recorder @ConferenceOfBranches.org.

All requests to become credentialed with the Conference will be reviewed by the Credentials Committee. After the review has taken place, you will be notified of the committee's decision.

For Members (Individuals)


To become credentialed with the Conference of Branches, able to participate in General Conference business sessions, complete the Member Credentials Form (in Word or PDF) and send it to Recorder @ConferenceOfBranches.org.

Conference Recorder

The General Conference has elected Apostle Doug Patterson to serve as Conference Recorder from 2019 to 2020. He can answer questions relating to eligibility to participate, travel visas, travel arrangements, housing arrangements and delegate status during the conference.
