Calendar of Events

Members wishing to add items to the calendar below, may submit a written request. While we prefer to be contacted by those sponsoring these events (so that details may be verified), we recognize that will not always happen and are therefore hoping members will help us keep the events calendar up-to-date. We may not be able to list all events submitted, but will consider each in an effort to keep our members informed, both for scheduling purposes as well as the prayerful support that can be made in behalf of events throughout the world.

District activities for districts with websites (currently the Independence and Heartland districts - both located in the USA) should be submitted to those webmasters or the contact person(s) those districts designate.

Leaders of both today and tomorrow are invited to participate in a Leader Development Seminar on April 14^th. Designed for anyone currently in a church leadership position, or anyone who might find themselves in one, these meetings will be held at the RemnantWorshipCenter from 9:00AM to 5:00PM the day prior to General Conference. Lunch will be provided.

The objectives of this seminar are simple: Educate, Edify, Enlighten, and Encourage the Saints to develop their leadership skills to better bless each organization they are a part of. The importance of transparency and clear communications will also be addressed, as well as when/how to lead, when to follow and how to develop these skills as individuals.

As a body of leaders, discussions will address our understanding of the needs of the church and how decisions are made. Questions will be asked such as:

Since we have no First Presidency, Apostles or Presiding Bishop, what can and should we be doing as a body?
What are we doing that is working well?
What are we doing that is not working?
How do we improve our success in doing the things we KNOW we should be doing?
