National Conferences

At the April 2008 General Conference, a resolution was passed calling for the JCRB to "encourage and assist in the formation of national conferences to be convened in October of each year or more often if necessary” and that “the JCRB shall organize an October conference in Independence, MO for all branches and missions in the United States.” National conferences are being held in the United States and in foreign mission fields (i.e., Liberia, Nigeria, Kenya and Belize). These National Conferences have dealt with legislation germane to their geographical areas and approved resolutions which would potentially affect the church outside their jurisdiction. These latter resolutions are sent to the General Conference for consideration and action.
